A guide for the Moon-Marked

1. You are not broken.
You are sensitive in a world that rewards numbness.
The feelings that threaten to drown you are signals, not signs of failure.

2. You have been initiated—unofficially.
There was no ceremony, no guide, no mentor.
Only a crack in your life—through grief, trauma, awe, or unraveling—
and something got in.
Or… something already inside you was activated.

3. The world does not know what to do with Moon-Marked people.
You may be diagnosed, pathologized, minimized.
You may try to play normal—and feel yourself slipping away.
Don’t ignore the pull. Learn to swim in it.

4. Start tracking your tides.
You are lunar.
You move in cycles, not straight lines.
What overwhelms you today may make sense next week.
Keep a Moon journal.
Not to control yourself—but to see yourself more clearly.

5. Your sensitivity is a compass.
Your panic is not always a malfunction.
Sometimes it’s prophecy.
Sometimes it’s grief you weren’t allowed to name.
Sometimes it’s the signal that something unseen is present—and real.

6. Find your symbols.
You may not understand what’s happening, but your soul does.
It speaks in dreams, images, music, metaphor.
Start collecting them. Build your lexicon.

7. You are not alone.
There are others like you—
scarred, dreaming, learning how to stay.

And if you are reading this,
you’ve already begun to return.
